Research Interests
My primary interest is in 'Machine Perception', including persistence in adverse weather, robust real-time perception systems and active control for optimal perception. I am interested in combining multiple modalities of sensor information (i.e. sensors with different physical characteristics such as LIDAR/RADAR/Vision/Thermal IR) in order to achieve robust long term perception, while operating in realistic open and unstructured environments
